Terasology can work in android devices right?

Not yet. It isn't a super simple change even though Terasology is already written in Java.
We adopted Destination Sol in part to get more exposure to Android programming. It uses a framework called LibGDX which is based on top of another one called LWJGL. We use LWJGL at present. So at some point in the future we might try to also move Terasology to LibGDX and make a bunch of other related changes that would make it easier to give Android a try.
