Block placement to see how it works

If I had a new block I wanted to try out where would I place it for a trial run on just my computer
(so, if it flops I'm the only one who knows I messed up )

And what are the steps I would take to do it

Easiest way to do this is finish up the DevSetup tomorrow morning via IRC, if you're up for it. Not at all difficult, and you'll be able to see your stuff in-game

I should be on by 10 am EST if not a little sooner. I'm telling myself I'll try to do some more actual work-work too, but advice on IRC is easy.
