Artist, sculptor, photographer, gardener... keeping busy. I work a lot in ceramic sculpture, as seen on my web site: www.willshirley.com, and wood carving, especially in old Norse and Art Deco styles. I worked on computers since they needed punch cards and own a souped up pair of Amigas, one shop built by Philips Inc for medical imaging software development. My father was a surveyor so I learned to draft and later used CADD, including Microstation, Autocadd and Dynacadd on the Amiga. So my background is civil engineering and development and my inclination is design and my hobby is history.
