I just introduced a bug in a local commit: the water surface doesn't get rendered, and in its place there's a number of icons/tiles. I have a suspicion of which lines of code are responsible for it (will debug it in the next hour or so) but I have no idea yet why it actually happens. Specifically, why the heck those icons/tiles get all the way to the framebuffer? I understand they might need to be in the memory of the graphic card, but how come they are getting into the final image shown on screen?

These are rhetorical questions and ramblings, I just thought I'd share a visual bug I just generated.

... wait, what? Haha. The water surface became an upside down tile atlas? That's pretty sweet. Going on Twitter!
