Redstone exchange for ????

Cervator in chat you said that we maybe should not use Redstone. Would you be welling to use one of these ....

We shouldn't use redstone since that's Minecraft territory, yes. I have something else in mind for arriving at a mechanics system later :)

As for gems - that's a whole other system, independent from the current redstone ore (that we should either rename and use for something else, like copper, or outright replace) as well as any sort of mechanics.

Gems are just gems and will have nice uses later on!

I do wonder though - different gems may appear in different ores, and some gems in multiple ores. I'm not sure yet if it is best to make unique ore + gem combinations (lots) or use some sort of transparent gem block and just paste it on top of relevant ores (fewer combinations to keep track of)

But any interesting block beats no blocks, so go nuts if you want to make some gems :)

oh thats an easy one, just replace the redstone for copper wire, mine up the copper smelt it into ingots and craft wire.
