A friend of mine has been working on a virtual tabletop for pen and paper games using Google Hangouts and assorted other Google services. It has been pretty snazzy so far and he launched a kickstarter for it a few days back with a focus on art. I talked to him about it and he might be looking for artists to spend some of the raised money on eventually - stretch goals are popping up for that sort of stuff too

Let me know if it is the sort of thing you'd be interested in helping with, tho it does seem like he has set the bar pretty high with some of the existing artists associated with it. I'm also hoping it could lead to some art collaboration down the road, network network network
