When looking around in Terasology, the game adds a motion blur effect, applied to all FOV elements equally.:
However, the motion blur effect should not be applied, so strongly at least, to the object in the player's hand.
This can be tested by holding your hand in front of your face and moving your head and hand together. The background objects will have some amount of blur, but your hand should stay in-focus due to it's low motion relative to your field of view.
If we disable, or lessen, the blur effect on wielded objects, the motion blur would be more natural (perhaps tolerable?).
