Happened to notice and wanted to post the link here:

LibGDX was what inspired the facade approach to our setup, although I expect we aren't using them quite the same way yet (ours are pretty minimal). It'll probably be easier to adopt LibGDX here if we try that one day.

They also recently announced fully adopting Gradle and support IntelliJ along with Eclipse.

If you look around some there are even references to running your game through HTML or on iOS, although I imagine that comes with some constraints. Javascript conversion and/or Mono seems involved ... :)

Their GitHub wiki is very impressive and worth a look, just real quick I also found https://github.com/libgdx/libgdx/wiki/Gesture-detection for working more easily with touch screens. Neat stuff!

I don't imagine we're going to jump at this opportunity quite yet, and it certainly isn't anywhere near the Alpha milestone, might even be a 2.0 type goal. Anyway, fun material to glance at and dream future dreams for!

Edit: As seen on Twitter it looks like libgdx and robovm go together well. Wanted to leave a note here just to remember for later
