Welcome to GSOC 2018 everybody.
This is Terasology's third year participating to Google's initiative and it's an important event for our project. GSOC participants deliver a large amount of work that long term contributors would be hard-pressed to produce in such a short time - many of us have full time jobs, children and very little free time left at the end of the day. We are very grateful for this and we look forward to the contributions of this year's participants.
We do feel responsible for the funding that Google generously provides though, and of course we want to nurture our project, its code, its modules ecosystem and its community. For these reasons code quality and maintainability have an important place in the process, alongside aspects such as functionality and performance - something to keep in mind.
This discussion area is meant to provide a space for GSOC Org Admins, Mentors and Students to get in touch with each other as a group. Programming-related discussion should still take place in the Developer Portal area, but GSOC-related issues can be discussed here, as needed.
And one thing you can certainly post here are the links to your proposals, if you wish.
