Is there a module that other modules can hook in to for permissions? Thus controlling skills/abilities/actions that certain players and or ranks can use/do?

Yeah, I haven't yet gotten my dev environment set up and gotten oriented with the project really. Work talks bullshit walks. That being said, I will only be working on add on type content. Huge mobs, dungeons, that sort of thing. :)

Yeah but Terasology gives me a warm and fuzzy, so I want to be aligned with its' interests. :)

Is it worth getting IntelliJ just to add modules? I like being in the same workflow as other people.

All I see in the launcher zip file is TerasologyLauncher.exe, am I missing something? As I am sure you well know exe binaries do not run on linux.
