Inactive My thoughts on realistic water

Well, we don't have to have rivers actually move. Something like Finite Liquid MC mod would be good start and frankly it is fair enough for me.

    Archived Poll: Artistic style

http://techne.zeux.me/Techne In essence I'm asking if I can do any useful work with it so I'll be able to use it with Terasology codebase (it has nifty feature of exporting models as Java source code - it is compatible with MC, but dunno about Terasology).

Inactive My thoughts on realistic water

Well, I know they don't work on it, I'm just saying that Terasology community could take it over, if we would get our hands on sources. Also, to limit simulation overheat, we could simulate water only in visible/loaded chunks. This way it would seem to work as it should, but at the same time...

    Archived Poll: Artistic style

So, I have two questions to ask, since it seems to be related to this topic. 1. Will it use same style for Mobs, etc. that Minecraft is using? I'm asking, because when they'll help me with importing Terasology into Netbeans, I'd like to do some Mob/survival work. 2. If so, is Terasology...

How to configure Terasology for Netbeans?

Still, I prefer NB. Eclipse is... just too confusing for me (and believe me, I've tried to "get used to it" for 3 months or so before return to NB).

You should try to use Liquid Cubed engine by ZanMGT (people who are doing Blockade Runner). Dunno if it is open-sourced tho.

How to configure Terasology for Netbeans?

Immortius I'm not that advanced NB user, so probably won't be able to do this. But if you or someone else could do this, I'd be more than grateful (grateful=feeling nice, >grateful=doing some for project) for this. Also with support for all major Java IDEs there will be more programmers to come.

    Archived Friendly dragons

Well, I don't like "animalistic" (is that even a word, Firefox tells me it isn't...) dragons. But who forbidding devs for using other reptile creatures that are in our world extinct and almost certainly were animals? Yes, I'm talking about dinosaurs. And dialogue for dragons is a good idea (my...

How to configure Terasology for Netbeans?

Netbeans is my IDE of choice. However I can't find any info on how to configure Terasology for it, there's only info for Eclipse and IntelliJ. Can you post info regarding configuring Terasology sources for NB?

    Javascript Modding API

I think JavaScript is bad way to go. Not only it is one of the slowest interpreted languages (even with V8), but also code may get very cluttered very fast. I think we should use more powerful scripting language, such as Lua, which is on-par in terms of possibilities and speed with Java...

    Height Limit

I think we should avoid arbitrary height limit by using 3D chunks, like Minetest and Blockscape does it.

    Archived Friendly dragons

Hello, I'm Darkhog and I am interested in this project for a long time (even since it was called Moving Blocks). I am huge dragon fan and nothing pisses me off more as dragon being portrayed as mindless animal, not smarter than average dog or lion, whether it is in game, film or book. So how...
