At least we're about to have quests!
Our project's 4th birthday was just recently, about two weeks ago but yours truly here has been slammed with crazy crunch time at my day job. So celebrating a bit delayed here
I've mostly escaped from my responsibilities and cleared the whole coming weekend (Oct 10+11) for a bit of birthday fun. I'll be around as much as possible both days, starting 10-11 am EDT till late evening. Some ideas:

I've mostly escaped from my responsibilities and cleared the whole coming weekend (Oct 10+11) for a bit of birthday fun. I'll be around as much as possible both days, starting 10-11 am EDT till late evening. Some ideas:
- Try out JoshariasSurvival in multiplayer with as many people as we can cram on a server. @Josharias has been working on stabilizing it and testing on a server and we should be able to try it out some. Keep in mind he's on the US West coast so while I hope to see him around sometime it might be a little later in the day
- See if we have the new quest module up and running in the latest dev build. I'll probably recommend we try the latest dev build Saturday then maybe do a release for Sunday with any fixes and updates. @msteiger's call to say if it is ready or not, but seems very close
- Discuss our ever-present desire to go Alpha already. I think we could split the idea between making the engine go v1.0.0 already (it is a solid foundation at this point) and improve our docs to make it easier for people to finish enough content to call the overall game Alpha.
- Maybe run a little workshop of some sort to talk about developing content (and work on said docs), especially if there's anybody around curious to learn
- Talk development methodology and what we can do better. A student group from Portugal even showed up with an interest in that, need to see if they're still around
- Other games? If there is interest we could probably host something else. I just picked up ARK, finally, and there are a bunch of similar survival games to have fun with and draw inspiration from
- Any other ideas? At the very least I'll finally have some downtime to catch up when idle
