    Archived Failed Install

Maybe - it is a little questionable. I dug out the similar related issue: https://github.com/MovingBlocks/DestinationSol/issues/40 It is actually for our fairly newly adopted open source game Destination Sol, which is based on LibGDX which in turn is based on LWJGL 2 just like Terasology. We...

    Archived Failed Install

Interesting. So it really does die during initial game initialization and you never make it to world creation or the other two logs. There's just no error at all in the init log. The only clue is the "ExceptionInInitializerError" right there on the CrashReporter screen. I wonder why we didn't...

    Archived Failed Install

Opensuse - that may be a first. What actually happened - at what point did something break? More details would be good :-) There are also more log files, that one is the init log which looks fine (usually there are three - init, menu, game/world). Did the game crash on trying to create and...

    Pre-alpha release 58 - tweaking some content

Thanks for the kind words, but no IMHO we don't need dimension support for v1.0.0 - in particular since if you really want to make the world look different just teleport the player to a very distant part of the "overworld" and make that part look however you want :-) That would just take a few...

Resolved City map stuck at spawning

Shadows (and lighting) is weird in general, we're aware, but nobody handy to fix in the near future :( Screenshots on my system would go to C:\Users\Cervator\Saved Games\Terasology\screenshots - the path hasn't changed for ages. Alternatively you can run with -homedir to use the game dir for...

    Archived Delta too great

Annnd like the Cities bug the crash here may be resolved now. In the latest dev build though, not the release Try out http://jenkins.terasology.org/job/DistroOmega/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/distros/omega/build/distributions/TerasologyOmega.zip and see if it helps.

Resolved City map stuck at spawning

Hey @ronnietucker this is fixed in the just published release - try it out :-) http://forum.terasology.org/threads/pre-alpha-release-58-tweaking-some-content.1380/ https://github.com/MovingBlocks/Terasology/releases/download/v0.54.2/TerasologyOmega.zip

    Pre-alpha release 58 - tweaking some content

This release for once probably has more changes in our modules than in the engine, which should become more typical as the engine stabilizes :-) Our 4th birthday is coming up, officially September 26th, and the tentative plan is to go with a multiplayer event running JoshariasSurvival...

WIP Metal Renegades - wild west meets robots

Fancy and nice :-) Still scary looking, but I'm not sure Blender could ever be made non-scary. "clic" to "click" in a few places Page 3 - what does "translate the object" mean? Maybe a clarification? Very cool to see the connection between the robot concept art and the initial Blender shape...

    Archived Installation Directory...huh?

Yep. That's the directory where the launcher will put files. Probably you'll want to make two new directories to pick. It isn't asking you to find a directory with stuff in it, but asking you to pick one to place stuff in :-)

    Archived Installation Directory...huh?

What do you mean when it stops and asks about an installation directory? Can you provide more details? The launcher will manage both game installations (the install dir) and game data (data dir) - so it should ask you for those two directories. We had an issue some time back where the file...

    Implementation Josharias Survival

Fun! Also, I see you cheating! Your hunger and thirst bars runneth over :D Very nice video, would like to highlight it when we have the code in the next Omega. Maybe we can aim for a release this coming weekend?

Resolved City map stuck at spawning

Yep just identified this yesterday :-) https://github.com/MovingBlocks/Terasology/issues/1928 It is fixed in the develop branch for the Cities module - which hasn't been released yet. I've played it from source and it works (I get the same issue with latest release / dev build) Should be...

Archived Hey can someone help me? Game crashing. Log provided.

I'm sorry to say, but it appears your video card / graphics driver isn't compatible with Terasology :-( java.lang.RuntimeException: Can not initialize graphics device. ... Caused by: org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated Since you're on Windows 10 there's a small chance that...

Suggested rough draft on the pros of Terasology for a kickstarter page

Good start of a nice feature list that could be useful in several different places. Anything like a Kickstarter is still way out (nothing to sell, and nobody to pay) but we could do a much better job simply highlighting that the game/engine exists and what it can do. Probably we should start...

Cheating, sure, but the game isn't complete yet so sometimes you have to :D Whatever causes that crash is exercised more frequently in TTA, probably because of its more creative use of assets. But it probably isn't unique to TTA.

@Josharias to the rescue! Maybe. I seem to recall that was an issue a little while back :-) When in doubt: resort to the in-game console. listItems / search mallet / giveItem, etc. Handy.

There's probably something "broken" about those blocks then ... :-) And yeah, everything content is still rough, hasn't been tweaked much for usability if at all yet Glad you still enjoy it :-)
