    Join to Dark side!

@FredoMaster better late than never! I was really hoping we'd see that beast finished :-) Is the "deck" of sorts meant to mark it as a carrier as opposed to more of a dreadnought?

    Resolved Black Screen Horizontal Bar

Hi @cyris69 ! By chance do you have volumetric fog enabled? It is broken (was only ever experimental) and produces a screen that looks much like your screenshot

Weekend hackathon! Celebrate GSOC deadline passing and our v1.0.0 future!

Added the module to the lineup and it is in the latest Omega package now, along with ShatteredPlanes! Posted to our social networks as well. Nice work :-) Weirdly I could get the beeping from a Perlin world when I went high enough to find snow, not so much just placing a snow block in a...

    Contributor Hello everyone

Oh nice! Queued you up for the main credits file next I need to commit something, and invited you to the contributors team on GitHub :-)

Intro GSoC Intro: Character and Gear Customization

Woo butterfingers! :D It is just for an icon, so pretty small. The player would be able to hold the item (for a fraction of a second before it auto-drops, because, you know, butterfingers) so it will be displayed that way. Comparable to the usual tools like the axe etc.

    Implementation Shattered Planes

Nice! And officially added to the standard module lineup with contributor badge handed out :-) I moved the thread into Modules and adjusted the header + module link. I pushed the latest from the secondary branch back to master so it would get built and shipped with the game. Seemed stable...

    Contributor GSoC Late Introduction

Yep what @Skaldarnar said :-) Since you got here late you missed out on 2-3 weeks of community bonding / small bug fixes and development talk that a few other students managed. Usually we encourage review of the contributor friendly issues list to see if you can spot something easy to get...

    Implementation Shattered Planes

@Cpt. Crispy Crunchy Actually the goal of Suggestion threads for modules is to simply move the thread into Modules when there's enough implemented to consider it working :) Let me know when you think it is stable enough to play with (doesn't really have to have a purpose yet) and we can add it...

    Design City and Population Simulation

Nice! Tip: Enable commenting in the GDOC like with GSOC proposals for easy feedback Additionally / Alternatively maybe split the design into smaller pieces that can be implemented independently and incrementally. Starting on a huge design can be intimidating. Starting and finishing "Implement...

    Intro Contributor Intro (GSOC)

@kgriff12 nice! I did see a few proposals sneak by in the last hour or so :-) Check out the main GSOC thread sometime for some more info and linked threads: http://forum.terasology.org/threads/gsoc-2016-quiet-period-while-slots-and-proposals-evaluated-next-april-22.1452

    GSOC 2016 - DONE!

Update: Proposals are done! Everybody take a collective deep breath and let it out again. Time to relax a little bit :-) We got 35 final proposals submitted. Amazing! Probably way above average for a new org like ours. I've posted a new thread considering what to do with our substantial...

Continuing mentoring beyond GSOC and new issue markings?

GSOC proposal deadline passed today, quite the learning process for us. Proposal process seems nice for larger projects, and having the mentor-student relationship could be a way to better hang on to contributors in general. A lot fail to connect with the game, the issues, or the community, for...

    Intro newbie

Hi @TapeshMandal thanks for registering in the forum! Mind telling us a bit about yourself, your background, what you've worked on before, and what you'd like to do? Easiest way to get started is to check out the wiki starting at https://github.com/MovingBlocks/Terasology/wiki/Dev-Setup to...

    Source Hi TERASOLOGY :)

The Oreons are indeed in a different format in-game, they're in md5 which the engine knows how to use :-) Those versions of the creatures live here: https://github.com/Terasology/Oreons I didn't get a chance to look at the proposal again, but I see it in the right place in the system so you're...

    Intro GSoC Introduction

Heya @MxV nice to see the intro post and meeting you on IRC a little earlier :-) I hope you were able to at least get a bit of proposal practice in, indeed a bit late to work in a serious effort. Still, you're more than welcome here and I hope you'll be interested in coding along with us with...

    Intro Contributor Intro (GSOC)

Hey @kgriff12 - I'm afraid you're pretty much too late for GSOC, the final application deadline is in half an hour .... :coffee: We love helping new contributors learn in any case though, GSOC or not. Would you still be interested in helping code some in-game yo-yos or anything else of your...
