    The Great Convergence

Still working a bit of prep - finished prepping a milestone on GitHub with all the overhaul needs for old develop modules (sorry for the notification spam for anybody listening!). Wanted that ready for inclusion in the big planned news post I'm working on. Really looking forward to another...

    Inactive Candy Stuff

Bump! Model issues resolved woohoo! Back on track for this thread - Maternal do you have a GitHub account ? I'm making issues for overhauling old modules to the new structure and a couple relate to you, but I don't have you in the team on GitHub yet :-) I do see a "Maternal" user on there...

    The Great Convergence

Good stuff today, and great work by mkalb to get the launcher up to speed, many thanks :-) I split out the remaining modules from the old develop branch, we now have a bunch: https://github.com/Terasology They all also have jobs in Jenkins and the GitHub hook enabled so they'll automatically...

    Tweaking Pathfinding

Woo progress! Components are meant to be removed/added at runtime to affect behavior, so that's fine - especially if it is only on occasion like at the completion of a job. Maybe something that added/removed at every single tick would be kinda bad :-)

    The Great Convergence

Excellent - thanks! :-) Would it be helpful to test against the Nanoware jobs ? I figure we can redirect from the normal jobs to the appropriate Nanoware variant, then push the Terasology code to that GitHub organization. Would allow for easy comparison between different job types without...

    The Great Convergence

Alright, finally digging out from under my on-call week. I guess one advantage of getting up before sunrise is that I can make it back home and report something constructive here as well before I'd even normally have eaten lunch ... I added a new "distForLauncher" task that puts the...

    Inactive Screenshot Enhancments

Agreed and some enhancement requests already posted to GitHub, just waiting for (working and isolated) code changes that can be pulled :-)

    Creative mode/Flying?

Hi RavensWing :-) Yep, double jump (space) is fly / noclip in the older builds, though I think you may have to enter debug mode first (press F3 - you can disable it again after you're flying to avoid seeing the text) Get to the console with the TAB key - in the multiplayer branch commands do...

    The Great Convergence

I think I can just move the dist stuff for PC back into the workspace root build dir. Was aiming to do tonight but it has gotten too late. Might still make sense to leave the version properties file in a new spot there, like right next to the .zip

    Tweaking Pathfinding

Bump :-) On request I've extracted out the legacy mods/pathfinding to a new style repo at Terasology/Pathfinding synopia - I created a team with you in it that has admin access to that repo, so you should be able to do anything you need. I dropped in a new style module.txt and .gitignore...

    Screenshots!

Oh, ya, that does kinda happen. I've sort of gotten used to it and barely notice. You'd need one of the 3D wizards to explain it further though :-)

    Screenshots!

Wolfgange - looks fairly normal to me, but then I'm not very good at spotting the fancy 3D stuff :-) I know the corners of the screen end up looking a little darkened, like you're looking through a sphere rather than a square. But I figure you might mean something else?

    The Great Convergence

Hmm, I did check on that at one point, it ends up in the main jar under org/terasology/version right? The TerasologyVersion.class is in there, but I don't see the .properties. I'll look into it, thanks :-) One trick is that both the version stuff and zip file moved - version stuff is inside...

Maintenance TerasologyLauncher - official Terasology Launcher

d3min3r thanks for the info. I'm not sure if we've had a lot of opportunity for testing on Mac OS, so maybe there is some situation where something goes wrong. The log file is right at the root of the user home directory? Maybe that relates. mkalb is your best option, might need to be patient...

Sure, there's no rush, and no lack of other stuff to do in the meantime :-)

Maintenance TerasologyLauncher - official Terasology Launcher

Hi d3min3r ! The launcher should create a temporary directory, maybe there'll be some sort of logging there? On Mac look under Library/Application Support/TerasologyLauncher or so One of the launcher guys might be able to provide better directions :-)

    The Great Convergence

Okay, I've looked at the launcher some and tentatively replaced the multiplayer entry with a legacy entry in my personal fork. I cheated and took shortcuts though, would be good with some review and additional tweaks (like full renaming of multiplayer stuff and better German translations). I can...

    The Great Convergence

Just did some fairly minor stuff tonight, got caught up in making pretty screenies. develop branch has been used to create new legacy branch, which has its own build job develop branch has been pushed to master one last time Immortius fixed a chunk thing I then backported to the multiplayer...

    Screenshots!

Time for a random round of mega-massive screenies showing mega-massive mountains! I had to increase the max attachment size 5 times over to fit these, heh. Don't load these on phones! 3840x2160, average size 13 MB each. Zoom-zoom-zoooom! Started in a forest looking through a gap under an...
